| Diane Baker 
 Diane Baker joined the Highland Park Baptist staff in 2001.
In her capacity as Church Administrator, she has multiple duties and responsibilities in which she supervises the non-clergy staff, manages the facilities and property, is liaison with church committees and outside groups, deals with the non-clergy business of the church such as insurance & office equipment, and traps and releases stray squirrels in the building.
Diane has a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics (Nutrition Specialty) with honors from the University of Texas at Austin. She is secretary to the Capital Area Chapter of the National Association of Church Business Administrators and president of the board of Texas Interagency/Interfaith Disaster Response.
Diane attends Shepherd of the Hills Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) where she has been moderator of the congregation, taught Sunday School, and chaired committees. In the past, she worked at Chapel of the Cross Episcopal Church in NC and Lake Travis United Methodist Church in Lakeway.
Diane lives in far northwest Austin with her husband of 35 years, David Baker. She has two adult sons, Richard and Andy. She enjoys volunteer activities such as Hands on Housing (AAIM) and Capital Area Food Bank.
